Midtown Neighborhood Watch: A Hub for Community Engagement

Updated: Sep 14

Empowering Residents and Fostering a Strong Community

The Midtown Neighborhood Watch meetings have become a cornerstone of community engagement in Daytona Beach. Held on the second Monday of each month at the Charles Cherry Cultural Center, these gatherings provide a valuable platform for residents to connect, share concerns, and stay informed about local issues.

Informative Guest Speakers

The meetings have featured a diverse range of guest speakers, including commissioners, business owners, the Daytona Beach Police Chief, the City Manager, and other influential leaders. These experts have provided valuable insights on a variety of topics, such as financial success, health and wellness, code enforcement, city infrastructure, and more.

A Platform for Residents

In addition to hearing from guest speakers, residents have the opportunity to discuss their own concerns, present ideas, and receive the latest updates on city activities. This open dialogue fosters a sense of community and empowers residents to actively participate in shaping their neighborhood.

Hosted by Steve Miller

The Midtown Neighborhood Watch meetings are hosted by Steve Miller, a former commissioner and local business owner. Miller's passion for community involvement and his deep knowledge of the area make him an ideal host for these gatherings.
